These ML series of remotes were mainly used in Marantec openers prior to 2003. They could have also been used in some of the Marantec M-Line M4500 and M4700 openers. The Marantec ML series of remotes such as the ML-1401 1-button and ML-1402 2-button midi transmitters were used primarily with Mac-Lift Deluxe 2005 Elite 2007 garage door openers.

The easiest way is to look at the information printed on back of remote. If the information has worn off and you can no longer read it then you'll need to frequency printed on radio receiver. The remote that comes with the plug-in radio receiver is then programmed to new. Look for a long gray antenna wire near the top of operator and follow that back to radio receiver.
